Digital Pathology
– Live and in Action
How do you prepare slides to ensure optimal scanning quality? What’s it like to compare different AI modules side by side, in real-time? And when was the last time you spoke directly with a developer team about your specific diagnostic needs? – On November 26–27, you’ll have the chance to do exactly that – at the Digital Pathology Experience Days in Cologne.
Held at the European Training & Education Center for Digital Pathology, right inside the Smart In Media, headquarters, this event lets you experience digital pathology not as theory, but as real-life workflow: hands-on, interactive, and collaborative.
Where digital transformation becomes tangible
Spread across three floors, you’ll find live workstations guided by experienced specialists. You’ll discover ...
-
... how to prepare slides for optimal scanning results
-
...how different scanners operate – and which one fits your lab’s needs
- ... how diagnostic platforms, Image Management Systems (IMS), and Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) work together – supported by diagnostic monitors and smart IT infrastructure
- ... how easily you can integrate AI modules into your daily routine – at the microscope or within your IMS
What makes this event special: You’ll be surrounded by professionals who work with these systems every day. Our partners, product managers, support team, developers, and AI experts are there to offer honest insights, practical guidance, and real dialogue on equal footing.
Alongside the workstations, you’ll also enjoy a diverse program of workshops, talks, and guided tours. Check out the agenda here.
Participants include:
